Chelsea accept losing money on Havertz sale

Chelsea are prepared to suffer a significant loss on Kai Havertz if they sell him this summer.

The Blues are willing to cash in on the German attacking midfielder.

Despite scoring the winner in the Champions League final for the club under Thomas Tuchel, Havertz has not realized his potential.

CBS Sports reports that Chelsea are still hopeful Havertz can find his best form.

However, if they do get a reasonable offer, likely from a German team, they will consider a sale.

Coach Graham Potter is a fan of Havertz, but with the club splashing the cash on new signings every few days, he may soon have a replacement in his squad.
