Benfica rejects latest Chelsea attempt with stark response

Premier League giants Chelsea have been knocked back by Benfica regarding midfield sensation Enzo Fernandez.

The Blues have not given up on their hopes of securing the Argentine star this winter.

However, Benfica are in no mood to sell, per Record.

Benfica have informed Chelsea and any other interested clubs that only a full payment of the player's €120 million release clause will be sufficient.

Fernandez had wanted to move to the Premier League this winter, even temporarily refusing to train with Benfica.

However, he has been set straight and informed he must stay until the end of the season at the earliest.
