Arsenal vs Man Utd: He brings so much – Ian Wright names Gunners best ball passer

Arsenal legend, Ian Wright has hailed the contributions of left-back Oleksandr Zinchenko in Mikel Arteta’s team.

The Ukrainian joined Arsenal from Manchester City in the summer of 2021 and has blended as a key man in the Gunners starting XI.

Arsenal are hoping to win their first Premier League title since 2004 and are 5 points ahead of Manchester City after beating Manchester United 3-2 in their crucial clash on Sunday evening.

Wright believes that the Ukraine international brings so much to the Gunners team and is their best passer of the ball Arteta can depend on.

“He has made a massive contribution to this team. He’s someone who can play midfield as well. He’s our [Arsenal] best passer into the final third,” Wright told Premier League Productions.

“He’s our best passer into the opposition box; he can’t really be picked out because people don’t know how to pick him out.

“What he does is he brings in an extra man there. He plays on the left side but before you know it, he is the centre forward. He brings so much from the left-back spot and the midfield.”
