You’ve six months to save your career or leave – Silvestre tells Man United star

Former Arsenal star Mikael Silvestre told Manchester United midfielder, Donny van de Beek, that he has just six months to save his career at Old Trafford.

Silvestre said that the Dutchman should leave the Theatre of Dreams if he failed to put these five to six months into proper use.

The second half of the season begins this weekend, and Silvestre said it has to be Da Beek’s time to turn things around.

Silvestre, who also played for Manchester United, said this ahead of United’s Boxing Day Premier League clash with Nottingham Forest on December 27th.

Van de Beek was left on the bench for Manchester United’s Carabao Cup victory against Burnley on Thursday despite Marcus Rashford scoring United’s second goal before the hour mark.

“We haven’t seen a change for Donny van de Beek unfortunately,” Silvestre told bettingexpert.

“If it’s not within the next five-six months, till the end of the season, then there should be a change.

“Yes, there are a lot of games to come, so there will be a need for fresh players. We expect him to come from the bench and grab the opportunities.

“It’s hard when you don’t have a run of games. Let’s wait and see for Donny van de Beek.”
