Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta is hoping to add a new central midfielder in the January transfer window.
The Gunners are light in that area of the pitch, especially if Thomas Partey goes down with injury.
Per football.london, Youri Tielemans is an option, however the Gunners may not sign him until the summer when he is a free agent.
Another option is Aston Villa's Douglas Luiz, who Arsenal targeted late in the summer window.
Brazilian journalist Jorge Nicola added that Palmeiras star Danilo could also be an option, but that the Brazilian club will want a significant fee for his services.
The 21-year-old could join teammate Endrick in leaving the Brazilian club, with the teen signing for Real Madrid.
