Manchester United defender, Victor Lindelof, has lauded teammate Lisandro Martinez, describing him as a fantastic player.
Lindelof said the Argentina World Cup winner settled down at Old Trafford quickly as soon as he joined Man United.
Martinez has been impressive for Man United since he joined the club from Ajax in the summer.
Speaking to the club’s TeamViewer Diaries, Lindelof said, “Licha [Martinez] settled down quickly and I think every teammate and everyone in the squad has been helping him as well and he is a fantastic player and he has been performing at a very high level before and with his national team, so I think that helps us.”
“Since he has arrived at the club, I think he has been fantastic and his energy and passion for the game is really, really great and I think it is important for us as a team. Everything he does, it’s always 100% and that is how it should be.”
