Diego Maradona Jr says his father "loved" Lionel Messi.
Diego Jr is now coach of local Naples club Afro Napoli.
He told Radio Kiss Kiss: "That between Argentina and France was a beautiful game even though I suffered a lot because I was cheering for the Albiceleste. Two very strong teams met, they gave a show.
