Brentford boss Frank on Spurs draw: We should've won, but then Kane...

Brentford boss Thomas Frank admitted some frustration after today's 2-2 draw with Tottenham.

Spurs pulled the Bees back from being 2-0 ahead to earn the point with Harry Kane scoring.

Frank said, "We knew they start slowly so that's why we got 2-0 up quick. (laughs) No seriously, there was no talk about having to start quickly. A good performance from us. Over 90 minutes if you look at what was created then I think we deserved to win. I was happy to let them cross from there and then it's a fantastic cross from Lenglet and a great header from Kane.

"Before the game we knew we had to stop Kane, stop set pieces and we had to win the transition battles. I think we stopped him from open play on the whole but he scored a great header and I know he hit the bar. He's a great player Harry and I like him a lot."

The Dane concluded: "What a game to reopen the Premier League with. What a game!"
