RB Leipzig thumped Shakhtar Donetsk 4-0 on Wednesday in Warsaw to qualify for the Champions League last 16 ahead of the Ukrainian side.
Shakhtar, playing their home games in Poland due to Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, had to settle for third place in Group F and a spot in the Europa League.
Leipzig progressed as group runners-up behind Real Madrid who secured top spot by thrashing Celtic 5-1.
