Transfer: Cristiano Ronaldo in shock return to Real Madrid on six-month contract

Portugal captain, Cristiano Ronaldo, is set for a shock return to Real Madrid next year.

According to Sport, Ronaldo reportedly wants to end his Manchester United nightmare and make a stunning return to Real Madrid next year.

Amid the fallout of his recent explosive interview, Ronaldo has now offered himself to Real Madrid on a six-month contract.

The report added that Ronaldo wants to return to the Santiago Bernabeu as a replacement for the injured striker Karim Benzema in January.

Benzema was forced to pull out of France’s 2022 FIFA World Cup squad after picking up a thigh injury.

Recall that Ronaldo accused Man United of betraying him during his bombshell interview with Piers Morgan last week.

Man United are keen to terminate Ronaldo’s contract seven months early without paying any of the £16million the 37-year-old is predicted to earn by June 2023.
