Luton set for talks with ex-Aston Villa coach Critchley

Luton Town are set to speak to former Aston Villa assistant head coach Neil Critchley about their vacant managerial position.

The Championship club have seen their head coach Nathan Jones leave for Southampton this week.

Now that Jones is in the Premier League with the Saints, Luton want to hire a manager as soon as possible.

Per journalist Alan Nixon, Steven Gerrard's no.2 before he was sacked at Villa, Critchley, is near the top of their wish list.

However, he is not the only candidate in the mix at present.

Luton will do their due diligence to ensure they select the best candidate for the job.
