Everton striker Dominic Calvert Lewin has sustained a dislocated shoulder as well as a hamstring injury in the defeat to Leicester last weekend.
That put paid to any hopes Calvert-Lewin had of making England's World Cup squad despite recent performances putting him back in contention.
Calvert-Lewin will see a specialist in the next 24 hours to assess the injured shoulder, says the Daily Mail.
The forward first suffered the shoulder injury when making his first start of the season against Newcastle United on October 19.
Calvert-Lewin has continued to play on even when suffering a recurrence of the injury at Fulham two weeks ago.
