Former Tottenham Hotspur attacking midfielder, Rafael van der Vaart has urged his old club to sign Chelsea winger Hakim Ziyech in the upcoming transfer window in 2023.
Van der Vaart said that Ziyech could turn Tottenham into Premier League title winners if they sign the Moroccan.
Ziyech has struggled to make an impact since joining Chelsea for £33.3 million from Ajax in 2020.
He has endured a difficult start to the new season, having started just one game for Chelsea.
The 29-year-old explored the possibility of leaving Chelsea in the summer transfer window, with Tottenham, AC Milan, Manchester United and Ajax all linked with the player.
“Hakim Ziyech has to join Tottenham,” Van der Vaart told Ziggo Sport.
“If Tottenham get Hakim Ziyech, they could win the Premier League. I am serious.”
