Eintracht Frankfurt midfielder Daichi Kamada ducks Leeds, Spurs rumours

Eintracht Frankfurt midfielder Daichi Kamada has eased talk of a January exit amid links to Leeds United and Tottenham.

Kamada is out of contract at the German side in the summer and if he fails to negotiate a new deal, January will represent their last opportunity to avoid losing him for nothing.

The Japan international has been in superb form for Frankfurt this season, including scoring three goals in the Champions League group stages to help them through to the last-16. That could be a major reason he has no interest in 'leaving immediately'.

He told Sport1: “I'm staying in Frankfurt this season. Even if there could be talks with other clubs in winter, I'm not interested in leaving immediately.

“I am much more demanding than you think when it comes to the clubs I would like to switch to. There have been talks and contacts with big clubs for two years."
