Tottenham's youngsters were defeated in the UEFA Youth League by Sporting CP.
While the senior side managed to play out a 1-1 draw with their Portuguese counterparts, the young guns were beaten on Wednesday.
A 2-1 loss for the Under-19s, thanks to a brace from Marco Cruz, means they are out of the UEFA Youth League in the group stages.
Spurs will not be in the knockout stage, as they needed to win the match against Sporting to have any chance of progressing.
Will Lankshear did equalise for Spurs in the contest, but they were unable to turn their upward momentum into a positive result.
Despite both teams having chances to then take the lead, Sporting had the greater quality, and sealed the points.
