Transfer: Ronaldo’s stance on moving to MLS in January revealed

Cristiano Ronaldo’s stance on leaving Manchester United for Major League Soccer’s Inter Miami has been revealed.

Inter Miami owner, David Beckham is attempting to bring Ronaldo to the MLS, according to The Sun.

The newspaper says that Ronaldo, who was desperate to leave Manchester United last summer, will give the offer from America a ‘serious thought.’

The 37-year-old has been reduced to a bench role at Old Trafford, starting just one of United’s seven league games this season.

Beckham, a former Manchester United man was linked with Ronaldo last summer and is ready to revive their interest in the five-time Ballon d’Or winner.

The Sun claims Ronaldo would give ‘serious’ thought to a move to America, although that may be more due to his frustration at United than his admiration for the MLS.

Erik ten Hag has preferred the pace and energy of Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial in Manchester United’s attack this season.

United is reluctant to lose Ronaldo, who was the club’s top goalscorer last season but will likely sanction his departure in January if terms are acceptable.
