EPL: You have to be scoring goals – Ian Wright disappointed at Arsenal striker after 5-1 win

Arsenal legend, Ian Wright has expressed disappointment over Gabriel Jesus’ failure to score again today despite the Gunners winning 5-0.

The Brazilian forward has now failed to find the back of the net in his last four league games but has contributed immensely to the team, providing two assists today.

Riess Nelson came off the bench to bag a brace after Gabriel Martinelli had put the Gunners ahead after 5 minutes into the game. Thomas Partey and Martin Odegaard also got on the scoresheet.

Arsenal returned to the top of the table, two points above Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City.

Wight labelled Jesus as ‘clunky’ after the match and admitted that he should be scoring more goals.

“Arsenal need goals. They need goals from wherever they can get them from,” he said on Premier League Productions.

“We need people getting in the box, taking opportunities to shoot and score. We’ve got five goals today and our centre-forward [Gabriel Jesus] hasn’t scored.

“We want our centre-forward scoring as well.. He looks a little bit clunky.”
