Liverpool legend Graeme Souness has said Casemiro will help Harry Maguire become a better defender at Manchester United.
He said the England international could potentially become a top player.
Maguire has had a difficult season under Erik ten Hag, starting just two games this campaign.
Souness feels the England international defender can regain his best form and become a top player.
“Maguire has been overly criticised and I feel for him. He’s had a bad run of form but he’s not the only one,” Souness wrote on Daily Mail.
“I think the boy has it in him to be a top player and with Casemiro playing in front of him, with a real defensive head who senses danger, I think he will be a far better defender. It will be interesting to see if he bounces back.”
