Wolves launch appeal to FA over Diego Costa work permit

Wolves have launched an appeal to get a work permit for veteran striker Diego Costa.

The Spaniard, who is only 33, is a free agent after leaving Atletico Mineiro in January in South America.

According to BBC, Wolves lost the initial attempt to secure a work permit for Costa, as he has not played enough games for Spain in recent years.

However, they are now appealing to the Football Association to help get the signing over the line.

Despite being at the tail end of his career, Costa is a two-time Premier League winner.

He has played for the likes of Chelsea and Atletico Madrid in a glittering club career.
