Man Utd relaxed about PSG interest in Rashford

Paris Saint-Germain were interested in securing Manchester United attacker Marcus Rashford this summer.

The Red Devils striker has rediscovered his mojo in recent weeks, scoring in games against Liverpool and Arsenal this season.

Rashford, who has a year (with an option of an extra year) on his contract, struggled to find his best form last season.

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, writing in his CaughtOffside column, PSG did want to sign Rashford this summer.

"Despite some claims to the contrary, Tottenham have never approached Rashford this summer. PSG have always had an interest in the player, but there has never been an official offer," said Romano.

"Rashford's current contract expires in 2023, but Man United are relaxed because they have an option to extend the contract for another year until 2024, so more on that later."
