LaLiga: It’s none of my business – Barcelona coach, Xavi on Griezmann’s future

Barcelona coach, Xavi Hernandez, has commented on the club’s forward, Antoine Griezmann’s future ahead of his side’s LaLiga tie with Cadiz on Saturday.

Griezmann joined Atletico Madrid on loan from Barcelona last year and has continued to play for Diego Simeone’s side this season.

But the recent turn of events could see Barcelona and Atletico Madrid go to courtregarding Griezmann’s signing.

When asked about the Griezmann situation (via Mundo Deportivo), Xavi explained that it was none of his business, adding that it was a club issue.

My opinion will change nothing. It’s a question for Cholo, he made it clear that it’s a club issue

I have not talked about Griezmann. It’s an Atlético-Barça issue. It’s a club issue that I don’t, I have dealt with it. We have not dealt with the Griezmann case. Bad leg, huh?”

Xavi was asked about Griezmann’s future once more, to which the Spaniard bluntly responded:

“Griezmann? It’s a club issue, it’s none of my business. There’s no debate. We think he’s an Atlético player.”
