Europa League: Headache for Ten Hag as four Man Utd players miss training

Manchester United manager, Erik ten Hag, is likely to be without four first-team players for their trip to FC Sheriff in the Europa League.

United go into the game after a home defeat to Real Sociedad last week.

However, their last two away games have both ended in victory, with wins over Leicester City and Southampton in the Premier League.

Anthony Martial was already expected to miss out through injury, but Donny van de Beek, Marcus Rashford, and Aaron Wan-Bissaka all missed an open training session ahead of the game.

Left-back Luke Shaw was involved, though, while Ten Hag will look to some academy talents for the fixture.

The Manchester Evening News reports that young defender Marc Jurado was training with the first team again. The 18-year-old is yet to make his senior bow but played for United’s under-21 side against Carlisle United in the EFL Trophy in August.

Young striker Charlie McNeill was also involved in the session. The teenager made his senior debut against Real Sociedad, coming off the bench for the final few minutes.
