Etebo agrees to join Greek club, Aris Thessaloniki on loan

Nigerian midfielder, Oghenekaro Etebo has agreed on a loan move to the Greek Super League club, Aris Thessaloniki FC.

All parties agreed on the deal on Wednesday and Etebo is waiting for his visa to fly out to Thessaloniki to sign the deal.

The 26-year-old is out of favour at Sky Bet Championship club, Stoke City.

The combative midfielder spent last season on loan at Watford but a long-term injury hindered his chances of getting a permanent deal.

Etebo made nine appearances for the Hornets six of which came in the opening games of the campaign.

It’s the third time Etebo will be going out on loan since joining Stoke City in 2018.

He once spent time on loan with Spanish club, Getafe and Turkish Super Lig outfit, Galatasaray.
