Brighton star Mac Allister wants Potter to stay amid Chelsea talks

Brighton creative star Alexis Mac Allister wants Graham Potter to stay at the club.

Everyone at the Albion is concerned about their manager's future, as he is being linked to the vacancy at Chelsea.

The London club have parted company with Thomas Tuchel, and they are already circling around Potter to replace him before the weekend.

"No, to be honest, I don't know anything. We didn't speak about any situation but he is really important for us and we want him to be here for a long time," Mac Allister told Sky Sports.

"I always say that the first year [at Brighton] wasn't easy for me and he helped me to realise that maybe I was not physically at the [right] level for the Premier League. But he didn't come and say, 'You are not ready' or blaming me, he helped me every day to be a better player. I am really grateful to him and I really appreciate what he did for me," added Mac Allister.
