West Ham United have put in a new bid for Hans Vanaken.
The Club Brugge captain is someone the club is loathe to lose this late in the transfer window.
Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano reports that the Hammers have now put in an offer of around €11 million guaranteed plus add-ons.
However, it is unclear if such a sum will convince Brugge to sell one of their most valuable assets.
The 30-year-old is an experienced attacking midfielder, who pitches in with his fair share of goals.
He is seen as West Ham's alternative to Jesse Lingard, who went to Nottingham Forest this summer.
