Watford accept Aston Villa bid for Sarr; personal terms yet to be agreed

Aston Villa have finalised a fee worth around £25 million for Watford's Ismaila Sarr.

The Senegal attacker, who is only 24, is emerging as a key target for Villa boss Steven Gerrard.

The Daily Mail reports that the deal is nearing completion, which is why Sarr was left out of Watford's team as they played Preston North End on Friday.

However, Villa have to discuss personal terms with the player, while he must also go through his medical tests.

The deal is not done at present, with other English sources reporting that it may be a few days before a final agreement.

Sarr was linked to Manchester United earlier this summer, but there is no suggestion of them making a late bid
