Transfer: You left Real Madrid for Man United because of money – Ben Foster tells Casemiro

Former Manchester United goalkeeper, Ben Foster has said that Casemiro only left Real Madrid for Manchester United because of money

According to him, the Brazilian never wanted to leave Real Madrid until he was made a promise of £300,000 a week and a four year deal.

He wondered what other reason would have forced the midfielder out of Real Madrid, a club that have the potential of winning the Champions League again this season to join a club only playing in the Europa League.

The 30-year-old midfielder is set to have a medical at Old Trafford and will be unveiled to fans on Monday after the Red Devils struck a £59.5 million deal with Real Madrid

“It’s crazy money and even Casemiro, Casemiro doesn’t want to leave Real Madrid. He doesn’t. Why would you want to leave Real Madrid? He said on talkSPORT.

“I know it’s Manchester United, I know this, but Manchester United aren’t what they used to be

“Why would you want to leave Real Madrid?

“The only reason why you’d want to leave is because, someone said ‘here’s £300k a week, you’re 30 years old, there’s a four or five-year deal.”
