Roma coach Jose Mourinho says he's working on changing their playing system.
Roma open their campaign on Sunday against Salernitana.
“We have to work on a four-man defence. Last season we mostly played with three defenders. Our wing-backs feel more at ease playing with a three-man defence," he said.
“This summer we've signed different players and we can play with four defenders. We need to work hard for this change, we can't ask for money and buy players like English clubs and some Italian clubs do. Sometimes you have to kill off the game because a minimum advantage means an open game.
“We have a good potential and players who can manage the ball. We don't want to repeat situations like last season against Juventus. We want to dominate games."
