Manchester United have he turned down a Chelsea approach for Harry Maguire.
The England defender and United captain is being linked with a move away from the club.
Maguire has struggled to find his best form over the past 12 months, struggling for most of last season and so far this term.
Chelsea were pursuing Maguire as an alternative to Wesley Fofana.
He was discussed in a possible swap that would take Blues winger Christian Pulisic to United.
However, the Red Devils do not want to sell Maguire, as they still believe he can contribute positively this season and beyond, according to The Sun.
