Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea concedes they're panicking when things go wrong during games.

United have lost both of their opening games of their Premier League campaign, the first was a 2-1 defeat to Brighton and Hove Albion at Old Trafford which was followed by the 4-0 thrashing at Brentford.

De Gea believes that the player are still suffering from previous disappointing seasons.

He said, "Of course, there have been some difficult seasons and probably, it's still in our minds.

"When something goes wrong people get panicky. It's difficult. But we have to learn, we have a new manager and some new players. We need to be more positive, keep learning and improve.

"It's about winning games. As soon as we win one game, two games, we're going to start feeling better and more positive."

De Gea also admitted that at half-time, manager Erik ten Hag told the players that their performance was 'unacceptable'.

He said: "Unacceptable, what we were doing on the pitch. Nothing else to be honest. It was horrible.

"We have to stick together as a team now, train even harder and even better, I can't say more to be honest."
