Ligue 1: Moffi’s brace steers Lorient to victory against Clermont

Terem Moffi was the hero as his brace helped Lorient beat Clermont Foot 2-1 at the Yves Allaintmat- Le Moustoir on Sunday afternoon.

Moffi opened the scoring for Lorient from the penalty spot in the 24th minute.

The Nigeria international added the second goal four minutes after the break.

Muhammed-Cham Saracevic reduced the deficit for the visitors two minutes after the hour mark.

Mofi has now scored two goals in three league appearances for Les Merlus this season.

He scored eight goals in 37 league appearances for Regus Le Bris’ side last season.

Moffi’s international teammate, Innocent Bonke, replaced Enzo Le Fee in the 82nd minute.
