LA Galaxy are interested in Barcelona midfielder Riqui Puig.
The 22-year-old only made 18 appearances last season across all competitions for the Catalan side and the majority of those came from the bench.
Xavi does not see him as part of the sporting project and it is certainly no secret that Barcelona are trying to offload as many players as they can to make space for their new signings.
While there are a few possible landing spots, MLS could be his next destination, says Mundo Deportivo.
There has been interest from Premier League outfit Fulham and Serie A side Fiorentina but no formal offers have been made for the La Masia graduate.
LA Galaxy are now hoping that the Spanish-speaking Chicharito Hernandez could help influence a move for Puig, although that is unlikely to be the clincher.
