Nottingham Forest close to completing a deal to sign Atletico Madrid left-back Renan Lodi.
The deal for the Brazil international is a loan with an option to buy.
Forest also looked at Tottenham's Sergio Reguilon, who is now close to replacing Lodi at Atletico.
Forest are also in advanced talks to sign defender Serge Aurier.
Aurier is a free agent after his short-term contract at Villarreal expired last month.
Forest boss Steve Cooper said yesterday he wanted to bring in more players and owner Evangelos Marinakis continues to back him.
If Lodi & Aurier sign, it will be eighteen new players at the City Ground this summer.
