Former Liverpool player, Charlie Adam, has hailed Arsenal forward Eddie Nketiah for his performances against Fulham on Saturday.
Adam said Nketiah’s personality and energy have given Arsenal a lift.
According to him, Nketiah provided Mikel Arteta’s men with the spark they need to seal a come-from-behind 2-1 victory over Fulham.
Arsenal fell behind in the 56th minute at the Emirates Stadium in their Premier League clash against Fulham.
Gabriel Magalhaes’ mistake allowed Fulham to take the lead as striker Aleksandar Mitrovic scored his 100th goal for the club.
However, Arsenal were level after eight minutes when Martin Odegaard equalized through a deflected shot and got the winning goal in the 85th minute through Magalhaes.
But Nketiah, who replaced left-back Kieran Tierney right after Mitrovic’s goal for Fulham, made an immediate impact as he dazzled throughout the rest of the game.
Speaking on BBC Radio 5 Live, Adam said of Nketiah: “His personality and energy have given Arsenal a lift. Only one team looks like scoring right now.”
