Crystal Palace manager Vieira plays down links with Man Utd right-back Wan-Bissaka

Crystal Palace manager Patrick Vieira has distanced himself from a move for Manchester United star Aaron Wan-Bissaka.

The former Palace star is not first-choice at United since the arrival of manager Erik ten Hag.

Wan-Bissaka, who struggled for his best form last season, was linked with a loan move back to his old club earlier in the transfer window.

Vieira dismissed the rumours, as he told reporters: "The right hand side we already have a couple of players that have been doing well since I've been at the football club."

In the same pre-match press conference, Vieira did admit that his side were still looking to bring in players to freshen up his squad.

Palace take on Arsenal in the first game of the new Premier League season on Saturday, while Man United take on Brighton on Sunday.
