Barcelona coach Xavi says Pablo Torre will not be loaned out this season.
The coach revealed that he recently spoke to Torre and conveyed that he still counts on him, and rejected the option of a loan move to Racing.
He said, "I think it will be right if he stays with us. It is difficult to get minutes, but I think he will have opportunities. I think he can learn more here. He should take this year as an apprenticeship. This season he has experienced a change of scenery because earlier he was only playing at home and now he is out of his habitat.
"He is at Barça and he has to be an important player for the future. He can be. We will have matches every three days and it's good that he stays with us and, if he has to help the reserve team, he can do so without any problems because he is old enough to do so," the coach added.
