Barca extend Gonzalez contract before Valencia loan

Nico Gonzalez has signed a two-year contract extension at Barcelona through to the summer of 2026.

Barca also confirmed the 20-year-old midfielder, who graduated from the club’s famous La Masia academy, has been loaned to Valencia for the duration of the 2022/23 season. 

Gonzalez made 27 appearances for Barcelona in La Liga last season, scoring two goals.
