Aston Villa are pushing ahead with a loan offer for Southampton star Jan Bednarek.
The Midlands club are hoping to secure the defender to replace the injured Diego Carlos.

Carlos is set to miss the entire season due to an Achilles tendon rupture.
Villa have struggled so far this season, losing two out of three matches in the Premier League.
The club are also being linked with a swoop for Watford's attacker Ismaila Sarr.
