Troyes right back Giulian Biancone has had his medical ahead of his move to Nottingham Forest.
The 22-year-old has agreed personal terms with the newly-promoted Premier League side, with a formal announcement of his signing expected soon.
The Frenchman is set to join up with the Forest squad for the pre-season tour of Spain.
Forest have been in the market for a right-back following the end of Djed Spence's loan from Middlesbrough.
Biancone is set to become Forest's third summer signing after the arrivals of Taiwo Awoniyi and Dean Henderson.
