Paris Saint-Germain have signed Hugo Ekitike from Stade de Reims on loan until the end of the season, with an option to buy.
Newcastle United had come close to signing Ekitike both in this window and the January transfer window
Ekitike started playing football at the age of five at FC Cormontreuil before joining the Stade de Reims academy in 2013. He played his first professional minutes in a Reims shirt in October 2020 against FC Lorient.
Last season, France U20 international Ekitike scored 11 goals in 27 matches in all competitions.
