Man Utd prospect Zidane Iqbal: My favourite position...?

Zidane Iqbal admits he's happy to play out wide for Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag.

The 19-year-old, who put pen to paper on a new contract at Old Trafford last month, made the admission after producing an eye-catching second-half performance in Friday's 4-1 win over Melbourne Victory at Melbourne Cricket Ground. The youngster, just as he did against Liverpool on Tuesday in Thailand, stepped off the bench at half-time.

The youngster, who has been with United since the age of nine, confirmed that he is happy to do whatever Ten Hag asks of him.

"I don't mind playing in a double pivot, as a No.10 or on the wing, anywhere the manager asks me to play," Iqbal told United View.

"When I was younger I used to play as a No.10, but over time you adapt your game a bit more. But if it's the wing, or anywhere, I don't mind as long as I am on the pitch."
