Former Chelsea and Arsenal midfielder Cesc Fabregas is ready to complete a shock transfer to Como in the second division in Italy.
The ex-Barcelona man is out of contract after leaving Monaco in the off-season.
Reports in Italy claim that the 2010 World Cup winner is set to sign for Como until 2024.
He will be joining a team that finished 13th in Serie B last term.
The Spaniard may also be thinking about working as a coach after he hangs up his playing boots.
Fabregas also had interest from Lecce in Serie A, along with Las Palmas in Spain.
