Everton in advanced talks for Burnley's McNeil

Everton are in advanced discussions with Burnley over the transfer of Dwight McNeil for an undisclosed fee.

The 22-year-old is having a medical at Finch Farm and the deal is likely to be completed in the next 24 hours.

McNeil has plenty of Premier League experience, having already made 134 top-flight appearances for Burnley.

The attacking midfielder had also been attracting interest from London sides West Ham and Crystal Palace.

McNeil has two years remaining on his current Burnley contract, with the Clarets retaining the option to extend that contract by a further year.
