EPL: ‘I have problem with your attitude’ – Chelsea legend slams Thomas Tuchel

Former Chelsea midfielder, Craig Burley has slammed manager, Thomas Tuchel for showing frustration after Blues 4-0 defeat to Arsenal.

Arsenal put their London rivals to the sword through Gabriel Jesus, Martin Odegaard, Bukayo Saka and Albert Sambi Lokonga.

Tuchel was clearly agitated after the game, questioning the commitment of the Blues stars and demanded more signings from the club hierarchy.

The former Borussia Dortmund and Paris Saint-Germain boss doubted the readiness of his squad going into the new season.

Thomas Tuchel has watched the likes of Antonio Rudiger, Andreas Christensen leave Stamford Bridge, with captain Cesar Azpilicueta and Marco Alonso looking like they want to go too.

But the Blues have recruited Raheem Sterling from Manchester City and Kalidou Koulibaly from Napoli and more players could join before the end of the transfer window.

Chelsea ex-star, Burley has hit hard on Tuchel over the German’s post-match rant, insisting he has a ‘problem’ with the manager’s attitude.

“I have a problem with this guy at the moment. Managers will look to make excuses, there’s always a way to try and get out,” he told ESPN.

“I’m sorry, there’s not ten players trying to leave Chelsea…I’ve got a problem with that attitude.

“It’s his job to have them prepared and up for it.

“I’m sorry but as the old saying goes, the buck stops with the manager. Don’t tell Chelsea fans they might not be ready for the start of this season, tell me whose job it is. It’s his job,” he said.
