Brighton defender Marc Cucurella has handed a transfer request in at Brighton in a bid to force through a move to Manchester City.
Sky Sports News understands the development has not changed Brighton’s stance on holding firm in their valuation for the 24-year-old.
The Seagulls want £50million for Cucurella. Manchester City submitted a bid of £30m last week which was rejected.
As first reported by Fabrizio Romano, the former Getafe player has now handed in a transfer request in an attempt to push through a possible switch to the Premier League champions.
