Chelsea struggling to sell players draining £700,000-a-week worth of wages

Chelsea are struggling to sell high-earning fringe players from their squad.

The Blues are going through an overhaul this summer, as they attempt to give manager Thomas Tuchel the signings he desires.

They have secured Kalidou Koulibaly and Raheem Sterling, but have not completed any other big deals.

According to The Telegraph, Tuchel may have to persevere with several fringe players who do not fit his system.

The source states that Chelsea have talent that earns around £700,000-a-week that they cannot shift.

The likes of Michy Batshuayi, Ross Barkley, Kenedy, Timo Werner, Malang Sarr and Kepa Arrizabalaga are all seen as surplus to requirements, but finding suitors is a challenge with their high salaries.
