The Red Devils are set to play matches Down Under, after taking on Liverpool in Thailand this week.
Martinez is close to joining from Ajax, per reputable reports from England and Holland.
The 24-year-old was not involved in training with Ajax on Thursday, as he looks to wrap up his transfer.
He is a key target for manager Erik ten Hag, who knows him well from their time together at Ajax.
According to The Athletic, United are making plans to bring Martinez to Australia to train with his new teammates in the coming days.
