Udinese defender Rodrigo Becao remains a target for Everton this summer.
The Udinese man is seen as a player that could help shore up the Toffees' leaky defence in the mind of manager Frank Lampard, says the Mirror.
Everton conceded 66 goals in the Premier League last season, the sixth-highest total out of the division's 20 clubs.
No talks have yet taken place between the Blues and the Serie A side but it is understood that a fee of around £17m could get a deal done for the defender who started 35 league games.
