Julian Alvarez set for just two weeks rest before Man City start

Manchester City star Julian Alvarez is set to receive very little rest this off-season.

The young forward, who is signing from River Plate, will not finish his domestic season in South America until July 6th.

He will then report for pre-season training with the Premier League champions on July 20th.

That means he will only have around two weeks of rest, per the Mirror.

Alvarez will likely play second fiddle to Erling Haaland for the striker position this coming season, with both youngsters arriving this summer to bolster the team's frontline.

One who is likely to leave is Brazilian attacker Gabriel Jesus, who is strongly linked to Arsenal.
