Turkish giants Galatasaray are emerging as a surprise contender to secure William Carvalho.
The defensive midfielder, who is a Portugal international, is likely to leave Real Betis this summer.
According to Milliyet, the club's sporting director has engaged in conversations with Betis regarding Carvalho.
The 30-year-old is also wanted by Gala's fierce rivals Fenerbahce
Carvalho does have a year remaining on his Betis contract, which means he could move for a relatively modest fee this summer.
Betis will be unwilling to lose him on a free transfer next summer.
